MEME: Monday Music Mambo - Week 111

Rfduck regales us with tales of his triumphant return: "Hi everyone! I'm back, and it's time to do the mambo. This week's theme is Say "Cheese" Day. What do you say "Cheese" for? Photographs. And where do you find photographs in music? Album covers!"

1. What's your favorite album cover from your collection?
Out of the hundreds of album covers over the years, my favorite has to be the original Pearls Before Swine cover on their first album, One Nation Underground, because it is an extract of a portion of Hieronymous Bosch's Hell panel from the triptych Garden of Earthly Delights. It was my first introduction to the work of Bosch and I fell in love with his expressive art immediately.
2. What album cover makes you wonder what the designer and/or band was thinking?
Somewhere along about the time I returned to Maine in the seventies, album covers and music in general ceased to be a topic of conversation or consideration during my day. Sad to say, nothing at all comes to mind. Over the years, there have been some hellacious choices made by artists that know better. But nothing sticks in memory. That's been happening a lot, lately.
3. Do you own the White Album by The Beatles or the Black Album by Metallica?
Yes. Doesn't everyone over the age of 45?

The rules are, there are no rules!!! All you need to do is copy and paste the above questions into your blog and add your responses. After you've finished, return here and leave us a comment so we'll know you've Mamboed. Be sure your Mambo is linked back to so others can dance too.

Remember, there are no right or wrong answers. If one of the questions doesn't inspire you then simply "pass" it. Just use your imagination and dance like crazy!

If you don't have a blog or you're an exhibitionist *woo hoo* feel free to Mambo right here in our comments section. There's absolutely no pressure ... although it's called the Monday Music Mambo you can Mambo on any day.

Until next time, this is your music-lovin' Mememeister saying have a good Monday and a good Mambo!
