MEME: Saturday Six - Episode 116

I hope you're having a happy and safe July 4th holiday weekend! But even a holiday won't stop the Saturday Six!

But first, Gabrielle of "A Metamorphoself of Gabrielle" was first to play last week's set of questions. Congratulations, Gabrielle!

Here are this week's "Saturday Six" questions. Either answer the questions in a comment here, or put the answers in an entry on your journal...but either way, leave a link to your journal so that everyone else can visit! To be counted as "first to play," you must be the first player to either answer the questions in a comment or to provide a complete link to the specific entry in your journal in which you answer the questions. A link to your journal in general cannot count. Enjoy!

1. If you had the chance to vote for a law that would ban flag burning, would you vote in favor of it?
No, I am at a point in my political and social development where voting for the removal of a right, any right, is akin to cutting off one testicle with a rusty Barlow knife. Such a law is unenforceable, easily gotten around and totally unnecessary. Where is the plethora of flag burnings that the supporters of such measures occurring? Not in the USA. I can count on my hands and toes the total of flags burned for other than lawful, proper disposal of worn out flags in 2005. Twenty (or fewer) flag burnings in a nation of almost 300 million people just isn't terribly concerning in my world view and, I submit, shouldn't be in yours, either.
2. Which of the following did you walk through most recently: a zoo, a garden, a beach, a cemetary?
It was a cemetery, a month ago, on Memorial Day weekend. No beaches around here to speak of, no formal gardens unless you travel some distance and no actual zoos in the State of Maine.
3. If you could create a new scent for a candle, which one would you select and why?
Hoo boy. I just reined in a vivid imagination and set it's feet to burning in the flames of the scorching thoughts my libido released. Never mind the candle, do you smell feet burning?
4. Take the quiz: What soda are you? (Thanks, Anna.)

Take the quiz:
What soda are you???

Diet Coke
You do realize that normal soda isn't all that bad, right?

Well, Oh well, try to lighten up a bit, and I hear

Diet Dr. Pepper tastes like the real thing, so go for it!

5. How often do you drink this flavor of soda?
Often enough, it's usually the only soda in the house except for the emergency can of sugar water in the fridge that is for low blood glucose emergencies only.
6. Do you have any plans for the July 4th holiday weekend?

None whatsoever. SWMBO¹ is working all weekend and I'm avoiding the sudden heat and humidity by curling my hot body onto the sofa below the air conditioner.
