1) What is your favorite kitchen appliance?
My range. It needs work, but having made do without for many years, I appreciate all that may be accomplished with four pot burners and a broiler/oven.
2) What kind of cookware do you have?

A variety of cast iron and porcelain covered cast iron (Colophon, Le Cruset, Wagner), some Revere ware that is over 50 years old and originally my mother's, Pyrex baking casseroles.

Natural wood and slate.

One of those mini-mixers by Braun.
5) Describe your dream kitchen.
My dream kitchen would have an old Blodgett 6 burner gas stove with two ovens and a broiler drawer, a Tirolia wood range and oven, a cooktop/downdraft grill in an island, soapstone counters and sink, natural wood (maple) cabinets (except for a Hoosier bake center), two dishwashers and a several refrigerators and freezers of the drawer style, sealed tile floors with a central drain and hose bibb cleanup, all adjacent to a large deck and separate dining room visibly connected. All appliances would be in a brushed stainless steel finish for easy cleanup. I love cooking - I hate cleanup. Lots of windows with cabinets under, allowing the accumulation of many houseplants, seedlings, sleeping cats, birds, etc. If I ever built a home, it would be built around the kitchen and it's need for access to the outdoors, the garage, and the rest of the dwelling.
